A man walking on Broad Street was killed in a hit-and-run
Sunday morning, a man died after being struck by a car while walking at Broad Street and Erie Avenue
Police are looking into a hit-and-run that killed a man early on Sunday morning when he was crossing Broad Street at Erie Avenue.
The man was taken to a local hospital following the incident, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police. His identity has not yet been made public.
Officials stated that the man was allegedly struck by a
2006–2010 Chrysler 300 that fled the scene while he was strolling down Broad
Street at Earie Avenue in the city's Hunting Park district. Police said they believe the car's front bumper was damaged
in the collision and they are looking for it. Although police stated that an investigation is ongoing,
they have not yet made an arrest in connection with this event.
