At King Charles' coronation, Prince Harry sits down but makes no balcony appearance.
The younger son of King Charles III, Prince Harry, was present for his father's coronation on Saturday in Westminster Abbey, but he sat in the third row and skipped the grand finale on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Harry, who now resides in California after having a very public falling-out with his family, has not yet decided whether or not to attend the historic event as of early April.
The 38-year-old Afghan War veteran of the army showed up to
the abbey happy, wearing a morning suit, and sporting his medals on his chest.
His wife Meghan and their two small kids stayed in the country. The successor to the kingdom, William, bowed before his
father to pledge his fealty as his "liege man of life and limb," a
gesture that was met with applause from spectators outside. He had no official
role in the rite and only observed. Later, when Charles and Camilla joined William and his
family, two of Charles' siblings, and the page boys from the service to wave to
the audience, he was not present on the palace balcony. Also absent from the balcony was Charles' disgraced brother
Andrew, who was forced to resign from his royal duties due to his association
with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire, and convicted sex offender. Prince Harry sits next to Jack Brooksbank, husband of Princess Eugenie, for his father's #coronation https://t.co/UjObJnhUV0 pic.twitter.com/fxQI57aSuX
